Welcome to Contel Mobile. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the prepaid mobile telephony services, websites, and applications provided by Contel Mobile ("we," "us," or "our"). By activating, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Contel Mobile provides prepaid mobile telephony services, including voice, SMS, and data, primarily within the United States. Our services operate on partner networks. Coverage, speed, and service quality may vary depending on your location, device compatibility, network congestion, weather, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific network speeds.
All Contel Mobile plans are prepaid and billed on a monthly cycle. You must pay the applicable plan charges before using the service. Unless you explicitly enable the "Autopay" feature within your account, your plan will not automatically renew, and your service will be suspended if not renewed by the expiration date. All purchases, including plan renewals and top-ups, are non-refundable.
International roaming services are included in specific plans (such as the Worldwide Unlimited plan) or available as add-ons. Roaming availability and data allowances are strictly subject to our partner carriers in foreign countries. Once your roaming data allowance (e.g., 6GB) is consumed, roaming services will be restricted or suspended until your next billing cycle.
You agree to use our services only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: automated mass texting (spam), continuous machine-to-machine connections, tethering beyond the specified hotspot limits (e.g., 10GB), and any activity that harms or degrades our network or partner networks. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate your service without notice if we detect a violation of this policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your 4-digit security PIN. You are liable for all activities and charges associated with your account, whether authorized by you or not. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may port your existing telephone number to Contel Mobile, or transfer your Contel Mobile number to another carrier, subject to regulatory guidelines. To port out, your account must be active, and you will need to provide your account number and security PIN to your new carrier. We do not charge fees for porting out, but any prepaid balances will be forfeited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contel Mobile and its partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including missed calls, delayed messages, or lost data.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and will become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these Terms, please reach out to our support team.
