How long does it take to port my number to Contel Mobile?

It can take up to 48 business hours, but until transfer is completed both your current service and your Contel Mobile one will keep working.

Yes, your phone number must be active before the transfer, and your current carrier must allow it. In addition, no pending issues regarding your number or current contract with another carrier must exist.
